In memory of Becky Hay

All at John Black Solicitors are deeply saddened by the news that our colleague and friend Becky Hay passed away suddenly last week.

Becky had been a Criminal Defence Solicitor in Chester for over 15 years and had worked with us since April 2022. She was a highly respected Criminal Defence Solicitor admired for her ability as an advocate in Court.

We have received a number of kind messages paying tribute to her warm and humane manner in court and praising her commitment to the clients she represented over the years.

She was liked by everyone and loved by many in and around the Cheshire criminal justice system.

Her sudden and untimely death has shocked everyone.

Becky was also a devoted Mum to her two young daughters. Our thoughts and deepest condolences are also with her husband, Mum and Dad. She will be missed terribly by everyone that knew her
